Investment grade silver bullion coins have a silver purity ranging from 0.999 to 0.9999, so they are essentially pure silver. Silver bullion coins are fabricated in a number of weight denominations with the most common weight being the 1 troy oz silver coin. The Chinese Silver panda coin is an exception as since 2013 it has been produced as a 30 gram coin (approximately 0.965 troy ounces).
